The American Martial Arts Renmei, Inc. was founded by Meijin (Supreme Grand Master) John A. Suarez in 1985 and headquartered in Rockledge Florida. A Judan, 10th Degree Black Belt, Grandmaster Suarez is nationally known and a fifty four year (54) year veteran of the Martial Arts. Soke Suarez has studied under and receiver Dan Rank Certifications from such notable Masters as Grand Master Jhoon Rhee, Master Dennis Hill, Grand Master Douglas Grose, Grand Master Takizawa, Grand Master Tatsuo Suzuki, Grand Master Cecil T. Patterson, Grand Master Edward Moore and Grand Master Dr. Dusty Johnson. Soke Suarez holds the rank of Judan, 10th Degree Black Belt and is the founder of Kenwayoshin Ryu Karate, Jiu Jitsu and Kobudo. A blended art derived from Okinawa Kenpo Karate, Wado Ryu Karate, Shintoyoshin Ryu Jiu Jitsu, Toyojin Ryu Ju Jitsu, Eishin Ryu Iaido, Toyama Ryu Batto Do and Tae Kwon Do.

The American Martial Arts Renmei, Inc., (AMAR) ® is a Kokusai Jinkou Kyoukai (self regulating) not for profit martial arts organization. We were established to be a professional organization governed by guidelines in compliance with international martial arts standards and is the sanctioning organizational body which incorporates Kenwayoshin Ryu Karate, Jiu Jitsu and Kobudo, Wado Ryu Karate, Okinawan Kenpo Karate, Aikido, Aiki Goshin Jitsu, Kosen Ryu Jiu Jitsu, Shuri Ryu Karate, Shorin Ryu Karate, Shotokan Karate, Shintoyoshin Ryu Jiu Jitsu, Toyojin Ryu Ju Jitsu, Eishin Ryu Iaido Ryu, Shindo Ryu JoJutsu, Tang Soo Do, Tae Kwon Do, Wing Chun Kung Fu, Judo, Yudo, Yusool, Holsinsul, Shaolin White Crane Kung Fu, Shaolin Chin Na, Toyama Ryu Batto Do, Okinawa Kenpo Goshin Tuite Jutsu, Tae Gun Do Ju Jitsu, Zen Shotokan Karate, Zen Goju Karate, Ryueiryu Karate Kobudo, Takeda Ryu Daido Sogo Bujutsu, Hasumi Ryu Kendo and Moo Duk Kwan, but is not limited to those disciplines and styles.

The American Martial Arts Renmei was founded to provide an organizational structure and an umbrella for all martial arts systems to facilitate corporation between major martial arts organizations and to further propagate the professionalism of the martial arts of all disciplines and styles. The American Martial Arts Renmei® hereafter known as “AMAR” is dedicated to the preservation of the “Old Way’s” and offer an alternative for serious dojo’s and martial arts organizations.
